Our countryside

Connect with nature

Strolling through our farm, you can experience the beauty of nature up close, alive with the wildlife of our countryside: the fleet-footed, skittish hare darting away, colorful pheasants, roe deer with their fawns, and high above the majestic buzzard in flight. Among the olive trees, wild boar leave their unmistakable tracks, while rows of blooming lavender attract vibrant butterflies and busy bees.

Crops

Integrated farming

Our family-run farm covers about 4 hectares on flat terrain.

We grow ancient Cappelli durum wheat, spelt, and—on rotation—legumes (chickpeas, lentils, and protein peas). We also have a small artichoke patch and, more recently, we planted lavender; we personally handle the steam distillation to extract the essential oil.

Our farm has moved from integrated farming to certified organic farming, strictly adhering to the standards approved by the European Union.

Our farm has always been devoted to growing cereals, and over the past decade we’ve also developed the entire supply chain to produce our own pasta.

Activities

Book your guided tour

If you wish, you can immerse yourself in the life of our farm with visits to the lavender fields and during the distillation of the precious essential oil; in summer, you can also watch the harvest of our ancient grains.

Taking part in these farm tasks is a simple, time-honored way to connect with nature and experience active rural life—while having fun and socializing.
